The USB Ports and Ethernet connection works excellently with our MacBook Pro Docking Stations. It’s mostly made from aluminum and very sturdy; it’s the perfect pairing for our Studio Displays, adding USB-A ports to accommodate our older cables that still work perfectly, along with sufficient USB-C ports to replace the port used by this hub. Just so you know, you may need to install DisplayLink software to use the HDMI port.

This little USB-C to Ethernet adapter does exactly one thing. And it does it with excellence. Just plug it in and watch it work at gigabit speeds. That’s it. There is nothing to install. And if this is the only solution you need, it’s perfect. But USB ports are at a premium on today’s devices, and Unitaskers should be avoided whenever possible. Yeah, Alton Brown fans know what I’m talking about here. But we do love this for travel, none the less.

It is small, compact, well-constructed, and perfect for home or travel. The only negative is that it is made of plastic. And it’s a Unitasker. But we love it for connecting our iPads to Ethernet.
